TikTok star spends $1.6k on friend's hens then gets uninvited from wedding
The reason has left people completely baffled.
An Aussie TikTok star has gone viral after sharing a horror story about why she was uninvited to a friend's wedding after dropping over a thousand dollars on the bride's "hen's party from hell".
Amy Dickinson said she spent over $1000 on flights and a hotel as well as splurging on a dress to wear to the upcoming destination wedding before finding out she had been uninvited shortly after the hen's party took place.
Amy said the whole weekend, set in Hamilton Island, was like "walking on eggshells" with things later escalating after the bride-to-be tried to ban phones at the restaurant on the last night, and then got mad after a girl took some photos of Amy and the bride.
Amy explained they were allowed to take photos of the actual event but the future bride didn't want everyone to be on their phones constantly editing photos. She then lost her cool complaining that she probably looked bad in the photos being taken, which caused the other girl to start crying.
Amy went to the bathroom with the other girl to console her, only for the pair to come back to the table and be iced out by the rest of the group. "No one would talk to us. It's like we had been completely exiled from the group," Amy said.

She then explained the group called two cabs to go to the next venue and agreed to meet at a specific spot, but when Amy and her other friend rocked up the other girls were nowhere to be found.
Eventually, the two groups linked up, but the damage on the night was done.
The next day, the bride called Amy who thought she may have regretted her actions from the night before and apologised but that wasn't quite the case.
“Keep in mind, this girl knew that I had booked my flights... and I paid for my accommodation and bought a dress for $650," Amy said.
“Despite that... I pick up the call, she goes ‘Hey Amy, I’ve been thinking about what happened over the weekend and I just don’t feel comfortable having you at the wedding.’
“My response was, ‘Thank god. Being stranded on yet another island with you is my idea of hell. Of course I’m not going to your wedding, I couldn’t think of anything worse’.”

Amy proceeded to block the bride on social media and the pair haven't spoken since.
The TikTok has been viewed over 1 million times, with people flocking to the comments to share their opinions about the disastrous end to the friendship.
"I hope they see this and get embarrassed!" one person said.
Other people tried to speculate what was really going on in the bride's head.
"She’s putting her energy into being a bridezilla because she’s in a s***ty relationship, maybe settling. It’s not you, it’s her s***ty life… and the wedding is a performance," one person said.
Others were shocked at the bride's other friends going along with her behaviour.
"AND NONE of the other girls said anything or helped you? This is insane!" one person pointed out.
