TikToker divides over unique name for son: 'Won't age well'

Many have defended the young mother.

A TikToker from the US has divided the Internet with her unique name for her baby boy. Calyn Breann, who goes by @calynbreann on the app, shared a video, which has since been viewed over 1.3 million times, showing herself holding her baby boy Coast, with the caption reading, "You should have named him something different, his name won't age well," seemingly a comment she's received in the past

She added, "I love my baby Coast!!!!!"

And while some hate the name, many commented saying they love it, with one user writing, "Coast is such a good name!"

"I think the goal should be for him to love his name," another added.

"I really love the name too," a third said. "I like names that aren't run of the mill. A unique name is definitely not so bad."

"Grandpa Coast, sounds fine to me," one user teased.

"Cool name! All the hate coming from those who named their son Bill," someone else added.

"There are plenty of worse names I've heard over the years," another said. "Coast is original and not something you hear everyday. Love it."

Many other users revealed they too had sons named Coast, with others telling her to ignore the "morons".

"I personally don't like the name, but it's your child and as someone who gave their child a unique name, who am I to judge lol," one person shared.
