White Collar aired on USA Network from 2009 to 2014. Created by Jeff Eastin, the show follows a charming con artist Neal Caffrey as he teams up with FBI Special Agent Peter Burke to work as an FBI consultant. Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay played Neal and Peter, respectively, while Thiessen’s Elizabeth was Peter’s wife.

Throughout the series, Elizabeth, a busy event planner, is supportive of Peter’s career and even offers him some advice from time to time. She also develops a caring relationship with Neal and steps in as a mediator when he butts heads with Peter.

During a panel at Variety’s TV Fest in June 2024, the series creator announced that they were bringing back the series and he would be writing the script. Bomer, DeKay and Thiessen are all set to reprise their beloved characters.

“It’s a fantastic script and it answers all the questions that one would have if you watch the show,” DeKay said at the event. “And it would introduce the show to those who haven’t seen it as well. Both edges of the sword are honed.”

Thiessen added that the revival honors late costar Willie Garson, who starred as a conman named Mozzie, "with such sensitivity and such heart."

"I told Jeff after I finished it, I literally was so excited, but at the same time had tears in my eyes — for good reason,” she said. “You captured the suspense, the thrill, the characters and the love in that reboot."

All six seasons of White Collar are streaming on Netflix and Hulu.
