The shock ways Australia's top OnlyFans stars are spending their millions

"For me, personally, I don’t want to still be on there in five years."

It's no secret that OnlyFans has become the quickest way for familiar faces from reality TV and social media to become multi-millionaires by selling explicit content – but how many of the adult platform's creators are spending their money wisely?

Following the website's continued growth over the last three of years, after first becoming popular during the pandemic, Yahoo Lifestyle speaks to some of Australia's most popular OnlyFans models about their long-term financial goals.

Melbourne-born Annie has been on OnlyFans for a little over two years now and recently purchased her second investment property thanks to her growing popularity. The 26-year-old's account experienced slow growth to start while she was promoting herself on TikTok and Instagram, but it wasn't until August 2023, when she admitted to sleeping with 300 people in one year during an appearance on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, that things changed.

In the months that followed the interview, Annie was dubbed “Australia's most sexually active woman” in press all around the world, leading to her hitting 12,500 subscribers in December. This means she is now generating a minimum of $187,000 a month just from her $14.99 subscription fee, excluding additional income from custom content and pay-per-view bonus videos.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Annie says: “I think earnings on OnlyFans are inconsistent and there is an element of it that is finite, so for me personally I don’t want to still be on there in five years. For that reason it’s important that I set myself up for the future!

"Investing in property is such a good way to do that, which was my goal when I first started [my account]. I bought my first property in October and my second in December.”

Despite earning double the average Australian salary ($90,000) each month, Annie added: “I have a spreadsheet where I budget my weekly and monthly earnings and make sure a large chunk of my earnings goes towards purchasing my next property, using whatever is leftover after spending to put towards my two mortgages so I can also pay them off sooner.”

In her first three days on OnlyFans last year, Married At First Sight's Bronte Schofield made a staggering $100,000 – and her earnings have remained impressive ever since.

A source tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the 28-year-old has used her income from the platform to help found her own swimwear brand, Lolé Swim, which is set to launch later this week.

Gold Coast-based Billie Beever, 29, who was crowned Australia's Top Female Porn Star last year, has always been reluctant to share her earnings like other OnlyFans models – but has still made enough to buy her first home and start several businesses.

“I've used my [OnlyFans] money to invest in my future so when I'm older and can't do the job anymore, I'm set up and have things to fall back on,” the single mother-of-one tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

“I've bought a home for me and my daughter, I've started my own topless waitress agency and two years ago I launched my own online boutique which I promote through TikTok. It's important to have multiple sources of income.”

After finding fame on Married At First Sight in 2020, Hayley Vernon was one of the first Australian reality stars to proudly start an OnlyFans – and tells Yahoo Lifestyle she made $1.3million in her first two years on the platform.

“Even though I make great money, I have to be smart. The money I earn now is not going to last forever,” Hayley says, after previously admitting she “regrets” blowing thousands on superficial purchases after making $90,000 in her first month alone.

Since then, Hayley has purchased two properties and invested in her career by self-finding tours across Europe, where she has collaborated with other adult stars to build her profile outside of Australia.
