The Block's Shaynna Blaze teases major career move ahead of season 20
The TV star told her followers she has 'big plans' for 2024.
The Block judge Shaynna Blaze has teased a surprising career change ahead of the renovation reality show’s milestone twentieth season next year.
The TV personality and interior designer took to Instagram earlier this week to share a video of herself singing in a recording studio and said she has “big plans” in store for 2024.
In the clip, Shaynna effortlessly belts out a cover of Bing Crosby’s holiday classic ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’ before wishing her followers a Merry Christmas.
“Incredibly grateful for what this year has brought me (yes, I’m in the studio!!!!) and taking time out to chill before big plans for 2024. Cheers to you all,” she wrote in the caption.

Shaynna’s followers were shocked by her impressive vocal abilities, with one person commenting: “Omg! You have some serious pipes!”
“Holy moly!! I never knew you could sing like this,” another added, while MasterChef’s Poh Ling Yeow replied, “Of course u can sing too”.
“OMG, your voice is amazing! Sent chills down my spine!” someone else shared, followed by a different user who said, “That brought tears to my eyes”.
One fan also asked when they could pre-order Shaynna’s new album, to which she responded: “In the new year”.
While it’s unclear which genre of music Shaynna plans on releasing in 2024, the mother-of-two previously worked as a jazz singer for 10 years.
She also competed as Bluebottle on this year’s season of The Masked Singer where she performed ‘I Say A Little Prayer’ by Dionne Warwick and ‘Call Me’ by Blondie before being eliminated in episode four.
The Block 2024
Meanwhile, Shaynna is yet to confirm whether she will be returning to The Block in 2024 for the show’s milestone twentieth season.
Production on the reality show kicked off last month on Phillip Island, located 90 minutes south of Melbourne. The season was originally set to take place in the country Victorian town of Daylesford but was forced to relocate in September due to permit issues and complaints from locals.
Although the lineup of judges is yet to be announced, Neale Whitaker revealed on Instagram in July that he will be back as a full-time judge for season 20.
Channel Nine also recently confirmed at their annual Upfront event that Scott Cam will be returning to host the show.
