The Block: Leaked document reveals sad truth of Leah and Ash's unsold house
EXCLUSIVE: Things have now gone from bad to worse for the pair.
It's now been six weeks since The Block's live auction and Leah and Ash's House 2 in Melbourne's Hampton East still remains unsold with a noticeable lack of potential buyers.
Things have now gone from bad to worse for the pair with their potential at turning an impressive profit on the property looking less likely by the day.
An updated Statement of Information obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle shows the couple quietly dropped the asking price by $75,000 last week.
The document shows the indicative asking price is now $3,125,000 – down from the initial $3,200,000 – with one source saying: "It will likely drop again in the new year due to lack of interest".
During the show's live auction, Leah and Ash only received one bid of $2,900,000 – which was negotiated up to $3,050,000 - but the couple opted to pass as this would only have secured them a $30,000 profit.

Speaking to 9Now about their decision to pass at auction last month, Leah explained they were still hopeful they'd be able to sell for the $3,200,000 they'd hoped to.
"It opens [our house] up to a lot more of the public who possibly couldn't bid under auction conditions. I think we'll be alright. We just need to sit it out, let the dust settle,” Leah said.
'Christmas miracle needed'
Last week Yahoo Lifestyle reported interest in the property was at a 'record low', with an insider revealing the house had zero prospective buyers.
"The winners and the losers of The Block seem disproportionally out of whack when you look at Steph and Gian adding $1.7 million to their bank account while Leah and Ash still flounder around new ideas to sell their home,” our insider said.

"It is like the longer the house is still on the market the further away an ending is in sight. A Christmas miracle is needed at this stage if they want the house sold in 2023."
If the couple manages to sell for the new asking price of $3,125,000, they would take home a profit of $155,000 – making them come third place, above Kyle and Leslie who walked away with $130,000 profit, and Kristy and Brett who only made $65,000.
Meanwhile, Steph and Gian made $1,650,000 in profit plus the $100,000 prize money, and Eliza and Liberty made an impressive $1,050,000.
