Colourful wallpaper to brighten any room and lift your mood
Interior styling has been turned on its head with these vibrant designs.
If you think wallpaper has to be beige and boring, think again. While your nanna's house might have had pastel paper on the walls (pink paisley, anyone?) today's wallpaper has had a serious makeover, thanks to Miss Lolo.
The New Zealand brand was established in 2013 by Tamzyn Adding, who decided she'd had enough of bland homes. Her background in celebrity fashion styling and her love of colour led to her launching her own range of wallpapers — and now she's relocated to Australia.
To celebrate Miss Lolo's arrival on Aussie shores, Tamzyn has released a collection with Aussie designer, Kasey Rainbow. Kasey is a neurodivergent artist who has used colour to help her manage her mental health.
"Many times, during my darkest periods, I would look to art in a bid to inject some brightness into my world," Kasey says. "It has helped shape me into the person I am today and the sole purpose behind my art and design is to help others by doing the same."
All the patterns come in standard wallpaper; vinyl wallpaper, which is great for wet areas and even outdoors; and peel-and-stick wallpapers, which are adhesive and removable.
Check out some of these patterns to help give your home a real pop of colour.
