Ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl match up between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made time for a private date night in New Orleans on February 7. Before all eyes are on the couple come February 9–as the football player brings his all on the Caesars Superdome field, Swift will be watching the game with her family and squad from a $3 million VIP suite–they made time for an under-the-radar dinner in New Orleans with Patrick and Brittany Homes. Per clips shared by news and fan accounts, Swift wore her signature red lip with a flirty LBD as the couple headed out for their Friday night dinner.

Dressed in a black long-sleeved mockneck black dress overlaid with sheer black lace, the “Blank Space” singer held hands with her athlete beau as she left French restaurant Lillette. The Grammy Award-winning musician paired the mini dress with black patent leather oxford-style booties and a black purse with a gold hardware strap. Wearing her go-to red lip in an orange-toned hue, Swift wore her blonde hair in a voluminous blowout as she enjoyed a pre-Super Bowl meal with her boyfriend and the Mahomeses. Meanwhile, Kelce coordinated with Swift in a surprisingly neutral look ahead of his big game. The Chiefs tight end opted for a dark gray track suit worn with a v-neck white t-shirt and a gold chain.

Meanwhile, Brittany Mahomes leaned into a Chiefs red style moment as she paired a bright crimson trench coat with matching leather boots and a braided clutch, per photos shared by People. Wearing a black dress underneath her dopamine-hued outerwear, Mahomes wore her blonde hair up in a messy updo with face-framing pieces.
The couples’ double date comes amid rumors that Swift could be joining Kendrick Lamar on stage as the “Not Like Us” rapper headlines the Super Bowl halftime show. While Swifties will have to wait and see if the pair team up for "Bad Blood" at Sunday’s game, Kelce’s dad Ed recently opened up about why the couple are looking forward to having the Super Bowl behind them.

“I think, you know, once we get past the Super Bowl, I think it’s going to be a very good period of time for the two of them,” he said during a February 6 interview on the Australia Today show. “Without the NFL season, without the Eras tour. Just them alone really connecting more. I think that can only be a good thing.”
