Sylvia Jeffreys welcomes baby boy

Channel Nine presenter Sylvia Jeffreys has shared her baby joy this morning.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to share the news that she has welcomed a baby boy with husband Peter Stefanovic.

Sharing an adorable snap of the brand new bub, Sylvia revealed the baby’s name and a sweet message of love to her first child.

“Our beautiful boy, Oscar Hamilton Stefanovic,” she wrote.

“3.4kg, deep blue eyes and perfectly healthy. He’s absolute magic.”

New dad Peter also shared the happy news, his delight palpable in a sweet caption.

“We’ve got our own Oscar!” he captioned the snap of mum and bub, adding he is ‘unbelievably proud’ of wife Sylvia.

“Love is strong. Life is fantastic,” he signed the post off.

Congratulations flood in for Peter and Sylvia

New uncle and brother to Peter, Karl Stefanovic shared the news on Today this morning.

“My brother, Pete, my gorgeous brother Pete and my even gorgeous sister-in-law Sylvia have welcomed a beautiful little boy into the world,” he said, sharing the sweet snap posted by Sylvia.

“Doesn't that just melt your heart,” co-host Ally said.

“Love to you here and all of us from the Today Show. Well done Sylvia, that is a gorgeous, gorgeous creation,” Karl said in a sweet nod to his sister-in-law.

Others also jumped on the bandwagon, sharing their best wishes for the new parents.

“Congrats guys. He’s absolutely gorgeous, love the name,” wrote Jackie-O.

“Congratulations. What a beautiful boy,” wrote Bec Judd

Sylvia and Peter revealed they were expecting a boy back in August this year via Instagram.

The parents-to-be tied the knot in 2017 in the Kangaroo Valley, NSW, after dating for four years.

Fans of the pair have been eagerly awaiting news of the baby’s arrival after the pair shared their preparations to social media.

Sylvia wowed onlookers with a luxury nursery makeover back in December.
