'Survivor 47' Kicks Off the Jury With an Auction and Massive Power Shift

After a twisty episode last week, the eleven remaining castaways of Survivor 47 have reached the all-too-important jury phase. And they got to commemorate the milestone with a big occasion, as the Survivor auction returned once again for an afternoon of food. The perfect dessert to follow up a hearty meal: A nice serving of humble pie for one alliance.

Who got voted off on Survivor 47 tonight?

Sierra Wright

Chicken-loving Sierra had been at the top of the pecking order since the very beginning of the game. She and Sam partnered up, and she became a pivotal swing vote between the genders in the last vote before the merge. Ultimately she decided to side with the guys, particularly keeping Andy in as an "easy" vote and someone who was "in her pocket." Unfortunately, that pocket was developing a hole in it as the individual game went along. Andy began to see warning signs of how expendable he was to the Gatas, and so he decided to jump ship. At Tribal Council, Sam declared war against the Tukus. Little did he know, however, that Andy had cobbled together a cross-tribal group of Lavo, Tuku, and himself to get revenge on his former tribe members. After a tense tied vote, Sierra was left clucked.

Were any advantages found or played on Survivor 47 tonight?

Yes! Rachel found an advantage rolled up inside her bowl of fries at the auction. Contained inside was a clue to a hidden immunity idol inside her camp's tarp. She successfully found the idol. However, she chose not to play it at Tribal Council. Instead, she played her Shot in the Dark, feeling uneasy about the way things were going. It was not successful in keeping her safe.
