Megan Fox Announces Pregnancy With Machine Gun Kelly
Actor Megan Fox is expecting.
The baby will be the first between her and musician Machine Gun Kelly, who proposed to Fox in 2022, and comes after the couple experienced a pregnancy loss last year.
The “Transformers” star announced her pregnancy with a two-photo Instagram post on Monday, captioned “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back.”
In the striking first photo, she appears to be nude, kneeling and covered in a black substance. She also tagged MGK, seemingly indicating that he is the father.
Her second photo shows a First Response pregnancy test that shows a positive result.
Fox has three other children, from her first marriage with actor Brian Austin Green, and MGK has a child with his ex, singer Emma Cannon.
Fox’s pregnancy comes a year after disclosing on “Good Morning America” that she’d had a pregnancy loss when expecting a child with MGK.
“I had never been through anything like that before in my life,” Fox said to ABC News’ Kayna Whitworth during the November 2023 interview. “I have three kids. So it was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean? And why did this happen?’”
She also described the experience in heartbreaking detail in her book of poetry, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.”
Fox and MGK officially announced their relationship in July 2020 after being publicly linked the same year, when they starred in the thriller film “Midnight in the Switchgrass.”
The two were engaged by January 2022.
“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood,” Fox wrote in a now-deleted Instagram caption announcing their engagement.
Later that year, MGK dedicated his 2022 Billboard Music Awards performance of his song “Twin Flame” to Fox and their “unborn child.”
