Jennifer Lopez's Lookalike Teen Emme Joins Her for a Glamorous Night Out
And they took the cutest selfie from inside the theater.
The Los Angeles Wicked premiere was quite the popular event, with a star-studded guest list that included the film's stars, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, and Michelle Yeoh, as well as other stars like Sheryl Lee Ralph, Ashley Tisdale, Troye Sivan, Kristin Chenoweth, Idina Menzel, and Jennifer Lopez, who brought her teenager Emme—who looks just like their mom—as her plus-one.
On Monday, Lopez shared a selfie to her Instagram Story that captured her and the 16-year-old smiling inside the theater over the weekend. The snap was set against a backdrop of pink flowers and an instrumental version of "Defying Gravity."
"Wicked!!" Lopez captioned the post, before adding, "We loooved it" with a green heart, witch, fairy, and pink heart emoji.
Before taking their seats for the film, Lopez walked the carpet without Emme in a striking beaded—and backless—Zuhair Murad gown that featured ab-baring cutouts, a halter silhouette, and the highest leg slit, maybe ever. Lopez styled the ornate dress with chunky cuff bracelets with giant gemstone embellishments, a silver clutch, and bedazzled strappy heels. Her hair was styled in an updo with face-framing curls.
Lopez also shared a video of herself posing on the carpet to Instagram. While cameras flashed, Lopez smoldered before turning to show off the super low-rise back of the dress. "Wicked Premiere 🩷💚," she captioned the post.
Lopez is prioritizing family time after a tough year. During an event for her forthcoming film Unstoppable last week, the multi-hyphenate told People that she'll continue spending time with her loved ones during the holiday season.
“It was a pretty intense year for me, and I’m most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast,” she said. “The holidays are such a special time for us, and they’ve always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories.”
