MKR fans have slammed Channel Seven after leaking a significant spoiler for Monday night's episode before it had even aired. Fans who were hopeful to see the Mo Bros, Rob and Liam, make it through to the next stage of the competition were sad to find out that Janey and Maddie made it to the top four after hosting the final Ultimate Instant Restaurant.

Taking to Facebook, one MKR fan said, "Did Channel 7 mess up by announcing participants in the elimination round at HQ this Sunday night? Definitely yes!"

Another user shared an image of the TV Guide for Sunday night's episode, which made it clear Janey and Maddie made it through.

It read: "It's a Matriarchal Match off as Kitchen Queens, Janey & Maddie battle it out with rival, Caz & Fergus. Three courses in under three hours, it's the ultimate cook off & the stakes couldn't be higher."

"Oh no that means that Maddie and Janey must get through!" one fan wrote, while another said that it was "sooo rigged".

"Well, that says it all. Dessert Masters for me tonight," a third disappointed viewer added.

"What a total stuff up by channel 7 FFS," someone else wrote.

"No f**kin' point whatsoever in watching tonight's show!" another added.

"Channel 7, botched up big time," yet another angry viewer said.

Rob and Liam had hoped that Maddie and Janey would end up at the bottom of the leaderboard, making them safe for the next round, with Liam telling the cameras, I’m hoping this is classic Janey and Maddie tonight: over promise, under deliver. It’s going to go very well for us."

"Losing out tonight to Rob and Liam is not on our menu," Janey declared.

However, the mother and daughter managed a score of 63, making them equal second with Mike and Pete, pushing Rob and Liam, who scored 57, out of the competition.

Fans were very upset to see the boys go, with one Instagram user writing, "Worst result ever... Liam and Rob are by far greater!"

"Justice for ROB AND LIAM they deserved to be in the finals!" another said.

"Can’t watch this anymore. Au revoir!" a third said.

"That was a disappointing end to tonight’s show," a disappointed viewer added.

Many others added that they hope Simone and Viviana take out the win this season.

After it was announced that Rob and Liam were going home, Maddie told them, "Sorry guys. It didn’t work out your way tonight, but we think you guys are great, and thank you."
