Elon Musk Responds To Chloe Fineman’s Claim That He Made Her Cry
Elon Musk has responded to a claim by “Saturday Night Live” cast member Chloe Fineman that his reaction to a skit she wrote made her “burst into tears.”
The story broke in August after fellow cast member Bowen Yang revealed on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens,” that one host in particular made several cast members cry leading up to the show.
Yang didn’t name names, but on Monday, Fineman posted a now-deleted TikTok where she outed Musk as the host whose reaction to a skit she wrote made her cry.
“I’m gonna come out and say, at long last, that I’m the cast member that he made cry, and he’s the host that made someone cry,” she said. “Maybe there’s others.”
Musk hosted the show in May 2019, and the reviews weren’t great at all, but he got salty after Dana Carvey impersonated him on Saturday’s show, which partially inspired Fineman’s video.
No other “SNL” cast members have come forward with their own gripes, but Musk wrote on X, formerly Twitter, addressing Fineman’s video on Tuesday, saying how disappointed he was at the skits he was shown until just two days before the show:
“Frankly, it was only on the Thursday before the Saturday that ANY of the sketches generated laughs. I was worried.
I was like damn my SNL appearance is going to be so fucking unfunny that it will make a crackhead sober!!
But then it worked out in the end.”
