Sunrise's Nat Barr reveals her Lotto windfall ahead of $100m Powerball jackpot draw
Nat's co-host Matt Shirvington divulged details of the star's win live on air.
Sunrise host Natalie Barr has revealed her own Lotto win, just hours before entry into tonight’s $100m Powerball draw comes to a close.
Up to half of Australian adults are expected to buy a ticket for the draw, with the $100 million prize being the joint biggest jackpot offered by any Australian lottery game so far this year.
This morning on the Sunrise couch, as Matt Shirvington was purchasing his own ticket, he spilled some details on Nat Barr’s past with the Lotto.
“Nat has the auto-pick where it just repeats,” he said.
“And she’s credited because she won like 900 bucks last time — wasn’t the 100 million.”

Nat looked delighted with herself as she said: “$930! A few weeks ago!”.
Speaking about tonight’s Powerball, The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said: “The last time we had a $100 million Powerball draw was only six weeks ago when a Bankstown dad pocketed the entire jackpot prize and became Australia’s second-biggest individual lottery winner.
“On that occasion, the peak of sales was at 6.29pm on the day of the draw when more than 8,227 tickets were sold in a single minute.
“Our best advice to Aussies vying for a chance to win this mammoth multi-million-dollar prize is to get in early and don’t leave purchasing your entry until the last minute.”
