Sunrise hosts shocked by Sam Mac's phallic creation live on-air: 'Wow'
Nat Barr couldn't believe what Sam had made out of clay.
Sunrise hosts Nat Barr and Matt 'Shirvo' Shirvington were left stunned during Monday morning’s broadcast when Sam Mac partook in a very risqué pottery lesson live on-air.
The beloved weatherman attempted to create a vase during the segment but went too fast on his pottery wheel and ended up spinning the wet clay into a very phallic shape.
Nat Barr was clearly shocked by his creation as she watched on from Brekky Central and covered her mouth with her hand as she said: “What the?”
“Wow, look at that,” Shirvo remarked.

Meanwhile, Mark Beretta and Edwina Bartholomew were both in stitches watching Sam try and rework his clay into a more family-friendly formation.
“I feel like I’m spinning too fast, let’s slow things down and take a breath,” Sam said.
“You know what, I’m just gonna do some reshaping, I’m just gonna slightly adjust this, but we’re gonna check your weather around Australia first.”
'Funniest thing ever'
Sam later shared the hilarious clip on social media alongside the caption: “Unintentionally making my cohosts awkward since 2016.
“Thanks to Bec & the team at @getcrockd for nurturing my obvious talent.”
His followers quickly took to the comments to share how funny they thought the segment was, with one person writing: “I almost choked on my breakfast watching this.”
“One of your many endearing qualities Sam is how you can make an awkward moment, on live TV, so funny,” another replied, while a third said, “I could not breathe watching this because I was laughing so hard”.

“Absolute the funniest thing ever. Another Sam Mac golden moment,” someone else said, followed by a different user who remarked, “Surely this is going to be on @cheapseatsau”.
“This reel will be a keeper,” another fan shared. “I can see this on replay for years to come. You achieved breakfast audiences sitting down and paying attention to the TV this morning, Sam. Everyone loves an awkward host moment.”
