Sunrise's Nat Barr calls out Amy Schumer after 'cyberbullying' Nicole Kidman
Kyle Sandilands has also slammed Amy over her recent post.
Sunrise host Nat Barr has criticised Amy Schumer after she shared a photo on social media poking fun at how Nicole Kidman was sitting at the US Open over the weekend.
The comedian posted a since-deleted snap to Instagram on Monday of the Aussie actress alongside the caption “this how human sit”, implying that she looked like an alien.
The photo showed Nicole staring intently at the tennis match with one hand under her chin and the other holding her elbow.
Fans quickly took to the comments to accuse Amy of “cyberbullying” Nicole and being “mean”, with one person even labelling her a “bully masking as a comedian”.
She later deleted the photo and shared a subsequent post, which has also since been deleted, apologising “to all the people I hurt posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien”.

Speaking about the incident on Sunrise on Tuesday morning, Nat suggested that Amy’s style of comedy hasn’t aged well in today’s cultural climate.
“It was pretty fierce,” she said. “Things have changed since Amy started her joking career.”
Kyle Sandilands weighs in
Radio host Kyle Sandilands also criticised Amy during Tuesday morning’s broadcast of The Kyle & Jackie O Show, calling the Trainwreck star a “troll”.
“This b***h has got no idea,” he said. “I don't know why she feels she can be an a**hole to everyone.
“I just don't like her because she's just a horrible human being. She's nothing.”

However, some fans have since come to Amy’s defence and argued that her post “wasn’t that serious”.
“It was funny. Why can’t anyone be funny anymore?” one person wrote. “Most of you could care less about Nicole Kidman, you just want to hate on Amy because she’s liberal.”
“Why would you take that post down? It was hilarious,” another commented. “Don’t be scared! That’s why we love you.”
