Channel Seven has a brand new reality show hitting our TV screens in 2024, and it's touted to be a mix between Survivor and Married At First Sight. Yep, Stranded On Honeymoon Island may just be our new reality TV obsession and already the trailer looks juicy.

Narrated by Jackie O Henderson, the show is being produced by Endemol Shine, the same production company responsible for MAFS, Farmer Wants A Wife, Love Triangle and many other reality dating shows.

So what is the premise of the show and when will it be hitting our TV screens? Let's dive in.

The show describes itself as “the most radical and extreme dating experience ever seen on television," and will feature 12 singles who have been unlucky in love. The show begins with a speed dating event where participants will be paired off and "marry" each other, but instead of being whisked away on a nice honeymoon, they will be dropped on a desert island with nothing but their wedding attire.

They'll remain on the island for three weeks as they get to know each other, with Channel Seven describing the concept as removing people from "all modern dating obstacles, with no devices, no distractions, and nowhere to hide."

While we don't know the name of our single stars yet, we do know radio star Jackie O Henderson will be narrating the show for us.

The trailer shows the singles talking about being unlucky in love and calling the new reality experiment "the craziest thing they've ever done". "I just wanted it to be Honeymoon Island, and it's Nightmare Island," one bride says in the trailer.

The trailer also shows the filming location as "somewhere in the South Pacific" but doesn't specify where.

Yahoo Lifestyle reached out to Channel Seven to see when the series would be premiering, but the network hasn't made a premiere date public yet... so watch this space!
