Shannon Noll's emotional surprise for Aussie legend leaves fans in tears: 'Bloody unreal’'

Australian singing legend Shannon Noll has left fans in tears by surprising a local woman who was closing her Bait & Tackle shop after 41 years.

The 48-year-old flew to Charleville in Queensland as part of the Will and Woody show’s epic plan to send off Jude - nicknamed Rude Jude by the radio show - in style.

Rude Jude has been a staple on the radio show after revealing that her little shop had a ‘naughty corner’ filled with items such as sex dolls and sex cards.

However, after she’s decided to shut up shop after 41 years, Will and Woody planned an episode from her shop, with Nollsie making a surprise appearance.

In a video posted to the show Instagram page, Rude Jude can be seen in tears as Shannon Noll played a rendition of The Beatles’ Hey Jude live from her shop.

Fans took to the comments section to commend Nollsie for his trip to Charleville.

“Shannon Noll is a bloody legend and sounds amazing. Best wishes to Rude Jude,” one person wrote.

“Your a legend Shannon!!!!!! What a lovely send off for rude jude!!!! Wishing you all the best jude,” another said.

“Australia’s adopted Naughty Nanna. We love you rude Jude. Thank you will and woody for introducing us to Jude. Nollsy you’re a bloody champion,” a third wrote.

Others said they were left ‘crying’ over the ‘bloody unreal’ moment, with one person saying: “Okay so now I’m crying”.

Speaking at the end of the show in an emotional segment, Rude Jude said it was the people who come in to her shop that she’s really going to miss.

“It’s been a journey, I can tell you,” she said.
