Shannon Noll barely recognisable after major transformation: 'Beast'
The Australian Idol star left his fans stunned when he posted a new snap on social media.
Shannon Noll surprised his followers over the weekend when he shared an update on his impressive body transformation.
The 47-year-old singer, who shot to stardom when he came second on the inaugural season of Australian Idol, posted a photo of himself at the gym wearing a thin blue singlet showing off his very buff appearance.
“I’ve been back in the gym three months now and I’m really enjoying it!” he captioned the post. “Looking forward to ramping it up and getting my diet and routine on track!”
He also added the hashtag ‘You Gotta Lift’, referencing his 2005 hit single Lift which was also used as the theme song for The Biggest Loser.

Shannon’s followers were clearly impressed with his new look, with Grant Denyer calling him a “unit” in the comments alongside flame emojis.
“Onya Nollsie! I need to take a leaf out of this book,” Sheppard lead singer George Sheppard wrote, followed by one fan who said, “Crushing it mate”.
“Geez he looks like a million bucks!” another added, while someone else shared, “Looking great Nollsie!”.
“Beast mode big bro!” a different user remarked.
Others also referred to the What About Me hitmaker as “Swollsie” and “Cannon Swolls”.
Shannon's son steps into the spotlight
Shannon’s post comes shortly after he introduced his son, 20-year-old musician Blake Noll, into the spotlight.
The father-son duo have performed on stage together a number of times, including at the Tamworth Country Music Festival earlier this year where fans demanded autographs from the budding rock star.

“He's just starting out, so he's not expecting big things at the moment, but he obviously has hopes and dreams. I'm really proud of him,” Shannon told Woman’s Day last week.
He added that while his days of being a “heartthrob” are “long gone”, he’s happy for Blake to take over that role.
