Royal fans lose it over brutal detail in balcony photo

Kate Middleton has appeared to be snubbed in a photo posted on Instagram by Prince William and Prince Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie.

Following the Platinum Jubilee honouring the Queen and her 70 years of service, Princess Eugenie shared photos of the Queen, thanking her for her "selflessness and dedication".

In one of the photos, the Queen is seen standing on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside Prince Charles, Prince William and his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, but fans noticed one glaring detail.

It appeared Kate Middleton had been purposefully cropped from the photo, with part of her arm seen in the right side of the image.

Fans were quick to point out the photo edit, with one on Twitter suggesting it was because of her alliance to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who did not have any alone time with Prince William and Kate during their trip to the UK.

"Somebody is Team Meghan," one tweeted.

"Clearly making a statement for and on behalf of Harry and Meghan," another claimed.

Others praised the royal for her "petty" editing skills, while some compared her to Solange Knowles, who is renowned for cutting people out of photos.

"She left enough so you don't wonder whether she meant to crop or not! Queen s***," one said.

"She knows what she's doing," another claimed.

Yahoo royal executive editor Omid Scobie said the couples shared no interaction during the weekend and The Cambridges turned down an invitation to attend the first birthday party for Prince Harry and Meghan's daughter Lilibet.

The Queen also reportedly refused to allow the couple to share photos of her meeting with Lilibet, because it was a "private family meeting", according to The Sun.

Apparently, the Queen also feared any photos of her and her great-granddaughter would be shared with US TV networks, the publication reports.

The Queen met Lilibet for the first time on Thursday last week at Windsor Castle, with Harry and Meghan denying their personal photographer the special moment.
