Aussie influencer Roxy Jacenko has given her followers a sneak peek into her son Hunter Curtis' Christmas wish list, joking that he is exactly his 'mother's son' after his thorough approach.

Hunter, 10, wrote a single-page list filled with his dream items and while Roxy didn't mention whether he'd be in luck to receive everything he requested, the Christmas list would total a cool few thousand dollars in total if he does.

"Hunter is thorough — his mother's son," Roxy captioned the Instagram story while showing off Hunter's extensive list.

Rachel Schofield, a parenting expert, told Yahoo Lifestyle that Roxy sharing Hunter's list gets you "thinking about what's really important at Christmas".

"In my years of experience as a parenting expert, I've seen firsthand how the simplest traditions often create the most cherished memories. I always encourage families to focus on connecting and creating those memories together, rather than just showering kids with expensive presents," she said.

Gone are the days of begging your parents for the Sims 2 and knowing it'd set them back a hefty $50. Hunter's list was enough to make any other 10-year-old (or grown adult) jealous with items including an iPad Pro, designer sports shoes, football shirts, and a Reflex punching bag.

Hunter's list was so thorough it also included the exact shoe size he'd need — from the Lebron James basketball shoes in a size four to the Nike Pro shoes in a size five. The kid has done his research!

Hunter's wish for an iPad Pro — with 1TB of space, nano-texture glass, and Apple Care Plus — would only cost a cool $2,929, and the shoes ranged from price from $110 to $280. Suddenly the second-hand Parramatta Eels jersey that was about five sizes too big that I asked for when I was 10 and retailed at a whopping $80 doesn't seem so bad. Right, mum and dad? Right????

"It's great for kids to have things they desire, but learning to prioritise needs and delay gratification are important life skills," Rachel told Yahoo Lifestyle. "It's also worth remembering that excessive material indulgence can sometimes make it harder for kids to develop empathy and financial responsibility."

Hunter's list comes not long after Roxy showed off her $15,000 Christmas decorations, taking to Instagram last Tuesday to show off the custom fairy lights she had put up outside her Singapore mansion.

Roxy and her family currently split their time between Singapore and Sydney, with the PR queen recently relaunching Sweaty Betty PR again after stepping back last year when she relocated to Singapore.
