“RHOC”: Emily Calls Out Heather for Giving Her Size 12 Clothes: 'Still Sees Me as the Big Girl'

Emily Simpson is opening up about her body insecurities following Heather Dubrow's fashion show.

On the Thursday, Sept. 19 episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Emily shared that she felt uncomfortable that her clothes were larger size than the other women's attire at last week’s charity fashion show. Emily explained that Heather told her to bring her own jeans to wear while everyone else wore the featured designer’s clothing.

“I actually had a little moment where I went into the bathroom and I actually cried a little bit because I felt like I was singled out,” Emily said through tears. “I felt like I was the girl that couldn’t fit into the pants that everyone else had on. It really killed me.”

“I felt like I wasn't as small as everyone else,” she added.

Heather told Emily that wasn’t her intention. She added that she “has a great body” and recalled a moment earlier in the season when she told Emily how “lucky” she was to have “such a great butt.”

“I don’t understand why all these insecurities are coming out now towards me,” Heather said in her confessional.

While Emily assured Heather she didn’t think she “would do anything malicious,” she shared that she had worked hard to get the body she has and Heather giving her large clothing was offensive.

“I thought I was giving you a starring role,” Heather interjected, noting that Emily had three changes while most of the other ladies only had two.

“I’m so sad that you feel that way,” Heather said and Emily countered, “I didn’t even feel good in the dress because Alexis [Bellino] was in the same dress."

Katie Ginella then chimed in to say that Emily was in a size 12 dress, while Alexis was in a size 2. Earlier in the episode, Emily clarified to Jenn Pedranti and Katie at lunch that she is “not a size 12,” and Alexis’ dress “fit her perfectly.”

“I still feel like Heather looks at me as the big girl,” Emily confided in them as they reassured her she wasn’t being “unreasonable.”

“That’s not my fault!” Heather later said and added in a confessional, “That’s not fair. I have news for you, the dress was tight on Emily, it wasn’t too big.”

Emily continued to question Heather, who said, “I’ve apologized, but you just want to keep coming after me.”

“I’m not coming after you, I’m just talking about myself,” Emily replied.

When Emily insisted Heather never truly gave “an apology,” Alexis defended her, and Emily yelled, “You shut up!”

“I’m not gonna shut up, you just brought me into this,” Alexis said, prompting Emily to call her “a wackadoodle.”

Emily then tried to pull Heather aside, but Heather was hesitant because Emily had already brought the issue up in front of the group.

“Stop being rude to me,” Heather said.

“You’re the one being rude,” Emily quipped. “You’re being cold and you’re being condescending.”

When Heather told Emily to “be quiet for a second,” Emily instead told Heather to “f–-- off” as she turned around and got ready to leave.

Over on the other side of the house, Alexis revealed that she “already” felt “broken” with the legal drama between boyfriend John Janssen and castmate (and John’s ex) Shannon Beador, who were involved in a lawsuit at the time.

“I’m at my lowest point right now,” Alexis said.

When all the women reconvened in the kitchen, they began yelling over each other, and Gina decided it was finally time for her and Emily to leave.

“You’re not involved in this — you’re a friend,” Emily said to Alexis on her way out, referring to her status on RHOC. “Shut the f–-- up!”
