Rebel Wilson celebrates 41st birthday in red swimsuit: 'Go girl!'
Rebel Wilson may have celebrated her 41st birthday back in March, but that didn't stop her from throwing an extravagant party with her closest friends six months later on a private French Polynesian island.
The 41-year-old was joined by Pitch Perfect co-stars including Brittany Snow, Anna Kendrick, Chrissie Fit and Shelley Regner among others for the trip to Rebel Island as it was dubbed for the weekend.
The stars were celebrating on Brando Island, which is owned by the late Marlon Brando, and was dubbed "Rebel Island" for the event.
Rebel posed in a red one-piece, showing off her 30kg transformation as she posed on the shoulder of a man in one snap.

She jokingly captioned the snap, "Thank you to all the amazing staff who made my birthday so magical, you guys have literally and spiritually 'lifted me up.'"
One follower commented, "Thought you were going to announce a Baywatch 2."
"Completely loving your health revolution, you’ve always been a beautiful soul no matter what size, you look amazing," another wrote.
"Living your best life. You go girl!" a third added.
"You are such an inspiration! Thank you!" someone else added.
Rebel and her friends celebrated throughout the week with movie nights and even a tennis tournament, aptly named Rebeldon.
The star recently spoke of her weight loss journey with Jamila Rizvi on The Weekend Briefing on LiSTNR, Rebel apologised if she did “annoy some people” with her posts, but explained that social media helped hold her accountable.
“I feel really good within myself and I like to celebrate the journey,” she began.
“And also, why I did it publicly was for accountability as well, because it’s all good and well just having a little experiment and if you don’t tell people about it you could just easily fail, whereas if I tell the whole world on social media, then that's pretty good motivation.”
The Aussie actress, who just wrapped up filming on her upcoming Netflix film Senior Year, also added that her weight loss didn’t have an effect on her confidence as she’s always had great self-esteem.
“I think people are beautiful in all different sizes, and I would feel just as confident rocking my size 16 dress as I do now. I’m about a size 8 now,” she explained.
“I loved being bigger and it never stopped me from achieving anything in my life.”
Rebel went on to say that the ‘Year of Health’ was simply about becoming a healthier version of herself as she got older and started to deal with “fertility stuff”.
As well as cutting out 'emotional eating’ - something that she says she used as “a tool to numb emotions” - the Isn’t It Romantic star took a holistic approach and dealt with the emotional and mental reasons behind her unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
“So it wasn’t really about losing a set amount of weight,” she said. “It was just about being the healthiest version of me and I dedicated all of 2020 to doing that and I'm proud of myself.
“I shamelessly post too many photos of myself on Instagram now, but I’m like, it’s the first time in my life I’ve lost weight and haven’t yo-yo’d back and just put it back on, which is what has happened to me in the past.”
