Rebel Wilson has been slammed by fans for a "tone deaf" post she shared while endorsing some supplements while on a yacht.

The 41-year-old posed on the boat to share the benefits of the gummy supplements, writing, "Nothing rocks my boat… not even the stress that comes with getting back to travelling! I've been loving my @ollywellness Goodbye Stress supplements. These tasty gummies help me say PEACE OUT to the bad vibes."

Fans were quick to share comments, slamming the star, pointing out millions of people are stuck in lockdown and can't travel. Some also pointed out the post is terrible timing with so many people currently trying to flee Afghanistan.

"The stress that comes with getting back to travelling? Must be rough that travelling," one user wrote. "I think there are like a billion people that will only ever get to dream of travelling. You are awesome but not this advertisement."

"For those of us still in lockdown it's rubbing it in our faces that we can't travel," another wrote.

"There are millions of people living in poverty facing eviction and homelessness or can't get the healthcare they need," a third wrote. "Are those gummies going to be any help for those people? The tone-deafness of this ad is amazing."

"Really tough travelling on private planes and yachts," someone else pointed out.

The actress has been openly enjoying travel since leaving Australia last year, spending a lot of time on private jets and enjoying other luxe experiences.

"Yeah, these travels have looked almost as stressful as people trying to get on planes in Afghanistan," another added.

Rebel recently made headlines for sharing a snap of herself with world number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic which she said was taken "at my most unhealthiest," before she embarked on her health and fitness journey.

In the lengthy caption, Rebel revealed that she was using “food to numb my emotions” after suffering a terrible loss.

“Okay so I know that I normally post flattering photos of myself…but found this old photo in my emails and was like: whoa!” Rebel wrote.

“I remember this was when I was at my most unhealthiest - being overweight and indulging way too much with junk food. Using food to numb my emotions.”

She went on to say that her father has passed away and it “was such a sad time” for her.

“I didn’t think highly of myself and wasn’t valuing myself how I should have. It’s interesting that I’m still smiling and still trying to be active - this was taken at a charity tennis tournament event (ps @djokernole is such a nice guy) - despite being in so much pain,” she continued.

“I look back now at that girl and am so proud of what she’s become and achieved. And just wanted to send out some encouragement to everyone out there struggling with weight or body issues or emotional eating. I feel you. I know what it’s like.

"But it’s never too late to start improving yourself and trying to be the best version of YOU possible. It’s not a race and it’s not a competition - it’s about respecting yourself and doing what’s best for YOU. So if you’re out there and reading this today, I just wanted to say: keep smiling and keep trying to be active!”
