Pink Pens Emotional Message to Husband Carey Hart, Doesn't Care 'What Gets Written'

Pink has a direct message for husband Carey Hart on their 19th anniversary, and she doesn't care what anyone has to say about them.

The touring artist took to Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 7, with a sweet selfie of herself and her spouse taken during a winter sports trip. Beams of sunshine reflected off of the motocross competitor's protective goggles, which he and the "So What" singer both had propped on top of the beanies keeping their heads warm.

"19 years ago on a beach in Costa Rica we both took a chance we weren’t sure we even believed in," she wrote candidly alongside the photo. "I’m so glad we did."

She went on to reveal that she's been with her partner for more years of her life than she hasn't—the 45-year-old first met the 49-year-old in 2001—and called him her "one constant."

"You have loved me, hated me, and loved me again," she continued. "I love our story no matter what gets written. It is gritty and sweet. Thank you for being by my side all these years. I love you forever."

Fans were touched by the emotional tribute, with one writing, "LOVE your story. proof that love conquers all."

"A beautiful testament to True Love..." another agreed, "thank you for always sharing!"

The couple were wed on Jan. 7, 2006, briefly breaking up in 2008 before calling off their divorce in 2009. While it wasn't always smooth sailing, today, the two share 13-year-old daughter Willow Sage Hart and 8-year-old son Jameson Moon Hart—and the whole family follows the performer around the world.
