PREVIOUS: Hulu has dropped the first trailer for Paradise, Dan Fogelman’s upcoming drama series that stars Sterling K. Brown as the lead of the Secret Service detail charged with protecting the President (James Marsden).
Up until this point, the premise of Fogelman’s new drama has not been revealed. Hulu is finally sharing a logline, but it doesn’t represent what you’ll see in the trailer, which is a dead Commander in Chief whose chief protector may or may not have murdered him.
It premieres Jan. 28.
Here’s the logline, which suggests a very twisty premise: “Paradise is set in a serene, wealthy community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high stakes investigation unfolds.”
That cast includes Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Michelle Meredith, Cassidy Freeman Gerald McRaney, Krys Marshall, Charlie Evans and Jon Beavers.
The series, produced by 20th Television, is executive produced by Fogelman, Brown, Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra and Steve Beers.
