Yahoo Lifestyle No One Is Cooler Than Emma D’Arcy in McQueen at the Golden Globes

In the event that you’re currently at home alone judging everyone’s outfits at the Golden Globes...very much same. And honestly, it’s been a parade of hits with very few misses. One of our personal faves? Emma D’Arcy, who just hit the red carpet wearing McQueen with jewelry by Boucheron.
Emma is nominated for their work in House of the Dragon alongside a truly talented pool of actors including Kathy Bates in Matlock, Maya Erskine in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Keira Knightley in Black Doves, Anna Sawai in Shōgun, and Keri Russell in The Diplomat.
This is Emma’s second Golden Globe nomination, and they told Gold Derby that they’re planning to be more present this time around. “When I was at the ceremony, I think my body was just in a sort of fight-flight response the whole time,” they said. “It was so adrenalizing and so far away from any experience I’d had prior to that. But in a very lovely way, I have a different perspective now, and I think this series has felt particularly personal to me. I have such love for the show and for the people who make it. It makes me feel emotional to have an opportunity to reflect on all of that labor.”
They added that they’re “really looking forward” to this year, and joked, “I think I’ll be able to stay inside my body this time around. I feel deeply fortunate to get to represent the show and all of that labor and all of that work before we go and shoot another one.”
