MKR's Rob and Liam surprise Simone and Viviana with 'beautiful' act

My Kitchen Rules’ Rob and Liam Watt have delighted fans on social media after they reunited with their co-stars Simone Preste and Viviana Barile at their pop-up restaurant this week. The ‘Modern Italians’, who won this year’s season of the reality show, hosted an exclusive event on Monday evening with live cooking stations, bottomless drinks, antipasto and live music for their fans to enjoy.

While the event took place in Sydney, ‘Competitive Brothers’ Rob and Liam decided to fly from Melbourne to make a surprise appearance. They shared a sweet video on social media documenting the trip and showing what happened when they walked into the venue together.

Viviana ran straight up to Liam and hugged him when she first saw him, while Rob embraced Simone and lifted him up in excitement. The quartet also posed for some cute snaps together in the photo booth wearing cowboy hats and holding roses.

“So Liam and I decided to take a last minute trip and surprise Sim and Viv at [an] event they were doing in Sydney at the amazing @cucinetta_sydney!” Rob captioned the video. “So good to see them!”

Fans praise 'beautiful' act

Simone took to the comments to say he was “still speechless” from their surprise appearance, while Viviana wrote: “I still cannot believe what happened! You guys are the absolute best! So much love for you.”

Fans were also thrilled to see the former competitors reunite, describing the act as “wholesome”, “special” and “so beautiful to watch”.

“Saw you guys walk in and it was such a lovely surprise! Everyone was happy to see you,” one attendee commented, while someone else said, “This made me smile so much”.

“Naaawww what a beautiful thing to do. You big hearted darlings,” another added, followed by a different user who said, “What a cool surprise! The MKR gang is back together!”.

“You four are the best MKR contestants ever!” one fan declared, with someone else describing Rob and Liam as “the nicest guys with such big hearts”.

Rob and Liam attended Simone and Viviana’s grand finale viewing party last month alongside some of their fellow ‘OG’ co-stars: Hannah and Lawrence, Ash and Cassie, and Danny and Sonia.

Simone told Yahoo Lifestyle following the event that the group celebrated until the early hours of the morning and didn’t get to sleep until 7am.

“It was insane. We watched the grand final all together, we had all of our friends, and at the end of the night there was a lot of champagne on the floor for the celebrations,” he shared.
