MAFS' 'sister from hell' Tamara Hall to return to show in shock twist
EXCLUSIVE: Viewers may see more of Lauren's sister Tamara Hall in the future.
MAFS kicked off with an explosive start on Monday, and the person who had everyone talking wasn't actually a contestant on this year's show — but a member of the bridal party. Lauren Hall married Eliot Donovan in the premiere episode, and while they appeared like they should be a match made in heaven, Lauren's sister Tamara seemed determined to derail the whole wedding, with Lauren telling her new groom that her sibling was "unhinged."
From winding her sister up before she walked down the aisle, to hitting on the best man and then throwing a tantrum when she didn't get the meal she wanted at the reception, Tamara provided all sorts of entertainment and drama, leaving fans of the show somewhere between amused and shocked.
Will Tamara Hall be cast on MAFS?
Yahoo Lifestyle can now reveal that viewers may see more of Tamara in the future. A show source says that producers have already discussed the idea of casting Tamara as a bride in next year’s season of the show.
The insider said: “The crew at the wedding were joking all day that she was made for reality television and the idea was then born. As controversial as she was, everything she did and said was TV gold and executives have acknowledged there’s so much potential there.”

Yahoo Lifestyle can also reveal that Tamara’s antics were even more eye-opening off-camera as Lauren filmed her wedding to Elliot at Sydney’s State Theatre on July 26. Our exclusive pictures of the sisters arriving at the ceremony show Tamara overshadowing her sister again by stepping in front of her upon noticing the paparazzi.
According to Yahoo Lifestyle’s insider, the idea for Tamara to appear on the next season of MAFS was jokingly suggested to her on the day to gauge her interest and the casting team at production company Endemol Shine Australia, who produce Married At First Sight, will “explore the idea” later this year when they start pre-production for the next season.
