MAFS star launches GoFundMe after scammers hack his Instagram: 'Help'
The former reality star claims his 'entire livelihood and happiness depends on his verified Instagram account'.
Former MAFS star Nick Furphy created a GoFundMe after his Instagram account was hacked, leaving him with no way to make money.
The season four groom revealed he hasn't been able to attend events, connect with his 72,000 followers or use his social media to make money as an influencer since his account was taken away from him.
The account was hacked last month, with Nick only able to regain access if he pays $3633 to a company to restore the hacked account.
The former reality star isn't able to pay the funds himself, so created the GoFundMe, which has since been deleted, in a last-ditch effort to get his account back.

According to the Daily Mail, the fundraiser, which is written in a mixture of first and third person, read: "Help a reality star in need as he fights to get his Instagram account back from the clutches of evil hackers! This poor guy's entire livelihood and happiness depends on his verified Instagram account."
"Without it, Nick can't make a living, go to events, or even pick up chicks! (Okay, maybe that last one isn't so important, but you get the idea)."
"I am not just asking for money to restore Nick's Instagram account, but for your support in getting back to... what he does best: entertaining and inspiring others."
He continued: "Your contribution will help Nick regain control of my online presence and continue to provide for myself and my loved ones (sic).
"I understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, but if you are able to donate any amount, no matter how small, it would be greatly appreciated."
Nick also added that this is a learning experience and will enable two-factor authentication if he's able to get the account back.
The publication reports that he had received several donations, including $35 from MAFS' Dan Hunjas, and $5 from his ex-girlfriend and fellow former reality star Jessika Power.
