Fans couldn’t help but laugh at Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis for her hilarious reaction to her boyfriend’s prank.
Michael Brunelli shared a video online of Martha reacting to his newly shaved face, and her response has been labelled ‘priceless’.
Michael, who has been dating the beauty influencer since meeting on MAFS in 2019, hid a camera in the pair’s bedroom to film the moment.
“My girlfriend reacts to my new look,” he captioned the post.
The video shows Michael sitting on the bed looking fresh-faced, with Martha visibly shocked as she walks in to see him. The former TV bride immediately raises her hand to her mouth and starts breathing heavily.
After she leaves the room and slams the door, she yells: “What the f**k have you done to your f**king face?”
Michael can’t stop laughing at her reaction, leaving the recent Celebrity Apprentice star even angrier.
“How are you just acting like nothing’s happened?” she screams. “You look like Voldemort! You look so bad.”
While she acknowledges how smooth his face is, she refuses to kiss him.
“Don’t touch me!” the 32-year-old shouts. “I have a really f**king hot boyfriend and if he sees me in here with you he’ll kill you.”
After a sped-up clip shows the pair arguing about the situation, Martha ends the video saying: “I don’t know why you would’ve done this. I wanted to go to Mercedes, now we’re staying home.”
Followers on Instagram shared their thoughts on the prank, with many commenting they often feel the same way.
“Omg her reactions are priceless, but I agree I hate when my husband shaves,” one fan commented.
“My exact reaction when my husband trims his beard and looks like a 12-year-old! I feel you, Martha,” someone else added.
Others were more critical of Martha’s response, saying she should have been kinder to her partner.
“You take this so well but this is really bloody mean,” a follower wrote. “On some level, this has got to be pretty damaging to your self-esteem during the day. Imagine speaking to your husband like that.”
Martha says: ‘You’re single now’
The Instagram video comes after Michael pranked his girlfriend in a similar way last month using the ‘no beard filter’ on Snapchat.
After texting Martha the ‘shaved’ selfie, she reacted even better than he expected.
It only took a few minutes before he received four missed FaceTime calls and 10 missed messages from her.
“Please tell me this is photoshopped,” one of the texts read.
“I don’t believe you’d be that dumb and shave like this,” another said.
“You’re single now, do you,” she ended.
