MAFS' Jesse exposes truth about reunion with Claire in rogue post

MAFS' Jesse Burford has exposed the truth about the show's reunion - and his relationship with 'wife' Claire Nomarhas - in a Facebook comment.

The reality star took to Instagram on Sunday night to share a photo of himself with Sandy that read: "Came to reunion to have a sick time and the first convo I have is drama filled. Sandy and I already spoke about this on the phone and she still decided to bring it up all over again at reunion."

Some fans were surprised to see the post and were left confused by the caption as there was no context provided in what viewers saw on the show, with one Facebook user taking to the Married At First Sight UNCENSORED group to write: "What did I miss?"

Jesse responded to the post, writing: "The focus of last night was: Cam, Lyndall and Tayla, Bronte + Harrison, Duncan and Alyssa. What wasn’t included was the drama between Sandy and Dan (and to a lesser extent, Shannon and Caitlin and Janelle and Adam). Sandy and Dan's drama was HECTIC!!! I was SURE it was gonna make it to TV. Sadly not."

"It’s a mystery," one user commented on the post, adding: "I’m also mystified at how his recent interviews contradict what we heard him say tonight."

They added that Jesse had posted "horrible things about Claire" since the former 'married' couple left the show.

Jesse has previously opened up about his experience on the show, admitting he was surprised to see Claire being portrayed so positively, despite some questionable behaviour during filming.

In response to the Facebook user, he revealed that he and Claire had barely spoken since filming ended, despite the bride claiming they were friendly and were exchanging messages.

Jesse said: "'Horrible things,' settle down, mate. Can confirm: we absolutely WERE NOT talking everyday - the TV played you like a fool. Trust me, you wouldn’t be commenting on MY honeymoon behaviour if you knew the full story mate."

He then continued in another comment, adding: "Allow me to clarify. Almost everything I say about Claire that night has been craftily edited to appear that there’s still a chance for us. Many of my sentences were stitched together - you can literally hear my tone of voice change throughout full sentences."

The reality star continued: "Claire and I absolutely DID NOT talk every day. I actually spent the entire drive to the reunion talking about how I wasn’t too keen on seeing Claire or Adam and how I wanted to mostly be by myself that night. What you saw was Claire and I simply being polite; friendly and kind to each other. No need for a fight."

Jesse shared that the pair had "a hello hug" and then only spoke once more that night. He also added that he didn't have a "best friend" in the experiment that he could talk to, saying: "Of course, I had ‘friends’, but I didn’t have a best friend. No one to confide in, connect with or who understood my strange a*s. I’m sure you’d all agree - I am the odd one out.

"At the end of the day, my honesty/integrity isn’t what needs to be questioned - coz I’m always gonna tell you the truth, clarify things and set it straight."

One user commented: "If what you are saying is true, then it seems like there's absolutely nothing on this show that we can trust to be real."
