MAFS EXCLUSIVE: Timothy chased by crew as he abruptly 'quits the show'
The outspoken groom was photographed storming out of Skye Suites while filming this week's episodes.
Following a tense couple of weeks and an awkward outing with their family and friends, Married At First Sight’s Lucinda Light and Timothy Smith managed to get their relationship back on track during Monday night’s episode.
Timothy realised he had to lower his walls in the relationship after chatting with Lucinda’s father Michael - who awkwardly encouraged him to have a “one-night-stand” with his daughter - and the couple felt optimistic about their future.
However, Yahoo Lifestyle can reveal that things between the pair got a lot more heated behind the scenes compared to what was shown on TV.
A production insider tells us that Timothy repeatedly tried to quit the experiment following Sunday night’s commitment ceremony but was convinced to stay by producers.

Photos taken on August 29, days before Monday night’s episode was filmed, show the groom being chased by a cameraman and sound person after walking out of his apartment at Skye Suites.
“They knew Lucinda was going to be one of this year's most loved participants and were never going just to let Timothy just walk away,” the source shares.
“They wanted her on the show as long as possible.”
Are Lucinda and Timothy still together?
All eyes will be on Lucinda and Timothy this week as they try to grow their connection, however, it appears their fate in the experiment may have already been revealed.
In a since-deleted Instagram comment, Lucinda accidentally let slip that she and Timothy are no longer together.
The wedding celebrant had commented on one of Timothy’s posts in October and called him “my hunky ex”, although the comment was deleted when Channel Nine gained control of his account last month.

It’s unknown exactly how long Timothy and Lucinda will stay in the experiment, but her comment suggests they finished the show on good terms.
While Lucinda might not currently follow Timothy on Instagram, they have been spotted hanging out together in recent weeks.
Instagram account @mafsgossip shared a gallery of snaps of the couple spending time together over the weekend which they claimed were taken at a friend's barbecue in Melbourne. The photos show Lucinda cuddling up next to Timothy with her hands on his shoulders, suggesting the door is still open for romance between the pair.
