Lily Collins is a mom!
The Emily in Paris star has welcomed her first child with husband Charlie McDowell, announcing the happy news in a surprise social media post on Friday, Jan. 31.
Collins, 35, shared the unexpected update with a sweet Instagram photo of her brand-new baby, a daughter named Tove Jane McDowell.
The actress explained in her post that she and McDowell welcomed their little one via surrogate, which is why fans had no idea they were expanding their family.
"Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell," Collins wrote in her post on Friday. "Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way."
"We love you to the moon and back again..." she added under the first public photo of Tove, who could be seen laying in a bassinet next to a blanket embroidered with her name.
Fans of The Blind Side actress were both stunned and overjoyed to hear the news, with one shocked user taking to the comments to write, "Wait what?"
"😮😮😮 Oh wow!!" another user wrote, while telling Collins and McDowell, 41, "Congratulations."
The new parents also received several messages of congratulations from some of their celebrity pals, including actress Amanda Seyfried, who commented, "This is perfect. So so happy for you four 😍," while seemingly including the couple's beloved dog, Redford in the family member count.
"I'm sobbinggggg 😍😍😍" Sarah Hyland added in another comment, while Jordana Brewster chimed in to say, "Congratulations!!!!!!!!"
