I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is set to return for its eleventh season next year with Robert Irwin and Julia Morris reuniting to welcome a brand new batch of famous faces to the jungle. Channel 10 shared a first look at the upcoming season on Tuesday evening teasing a “great adventure” for the incoming contestants.

The vintage-themed promo features Robert and Julia acting as guides for their “celebrity jungle tours”, with the duo performing an original song promoting their “exclusive retreat” in South Africa. Features of the “luxury” getaway include “welcome drinks” containing cockroaches, “meet and greets” with snakes, and “all you can eat” insects.

“It’s time to recharge your batteries with world-famous hospitality! Experience authentic cuisine, it’s all happening from January 19,” they sing.

The social media post was quickly flooded with comments from excited viewers, with many people admitting they were surprised by Robert’s vocal abilities.

“Gosh and Robert can sing too!” one person wrote, while another added, “Is there anything this guy can't do?”.

“Robert is a superstar,” a third shared, followed by someone else who said, “What an awesome trailer! Great singing Robert!”

“You can't post this and not give us an episode where the two of you sing the whole way through,” a different user remarked.

Plenty of fans also commended the “fantastic” promo, even going so far as to label it the “best ad ever”.

“Love the effort put into each year's promo,” one viewer replied, with another writing, “I love these trailers way more than a grown woman should”.

“I love these ads just as much as I do the show. From writing to production, they are brilliant,” someone else commented.

“Stunning production! Gorgeous theme! I can’t wait,” another shared, followed by a different user who said, “This is actually such a clever ad”.

Season 11 of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will premiere on January 19, marking the first time the series has been filmed at the start of the year since 2022.

While the contestants are yet to be announced, a celebrity casting agent tells Yahoo Lifestyle the cast is being finalised this week and there are “only a few spots left”.

“Casting men for these sorts of celebrity shows is easy but for some reason finding women to sign on is always a struggle. They usually take a lot more convincing,” they share. “Getting someone who has done the show to convince the potential celebrities is often the best path to getting reluctant stars to agree, and Channel Ten have asked Poh Ling Yeow to vouch for the show.”

One star rumoured to be amongst the cast is former MasterChef judge Melissa Leong, who is currently hosting Dessert Masters. An insider tells us that Channel 10 likely won’t renew Dessert Masters for a third season next year due to low ratings, however, they “don’t want to lose their relationship” with the food critic and are hoping to cast her on another show.

“What has happened in the past with Channel 10’s ‘network talent’ after their flagship show gets cancelled is that they get offered a significant pay cheque to enter the jungle,” our source shares.“We saw that with Tristan McManus last year after Studio 10 was axed. He was reluctant but eventually agreed as the network promised him more work if he signed up for the reality show.”

The insider went on to say that network executives could “play into Melissa’s fearless nature and unpredictable career choices” to get her on the show, but the decision will likely come down to how much money she’s offered.

“The money is often quite good and if Melissa could bag a quarter of a million dollars for the proposed 21 days, that isn't something anyone should easily turn down,” they add. “They will need to frame this offer with a very clever pitch.”
