‘Landman’ Premiere Hits 14.6 Million Viewers in One Week, Paramount Says

The first episode of “Landman” hit 14.6 million viewers in its first week of availability, according to Paramount. That accounts for streams on Paramount+ as well as linear airings on the Paramount Network.

Paramount did not define what it counts as a viewer; therefore, it is unclear how much of the episode the reported number of viewers watched. Some streamers, like Netflix and Disney, opt to measure in “views,” which are calculated by dividing the total amount of time a title was watched by its runtime, while others, including both Paramount and Amazon Prime Video are more vague. Therefore, 14.6 million could potentially refer to the number of viewers who watched any portion of the “Landman” premiere.
