Lucia, the daughter of Loren's filmmaker son Edoardo Ponti and actress Sasha Alexander, wore a strapless lace Armani gown for the event, accessorizing with a diamond and emerald necklace. Count Alberico di Carpegna Brivio walked her down the runway.
Currently a student at Brown University in Rhode Island, Lucia opened up to Hello! in advance of the ball about how her 90-year-old grandma influenced her fashion sense.
"My grandmother always believed in timeless elegance and the importance of wearing something that reflects your true self. Growing up, she taught me the value of simplicity, tailoring, and always adding a touch of uniqueness to your outfit," she said.
Even though Loren lives in Geneva, Lucia said they see each other as often as possible.
"My grandmother and I are very close. We visit her frequently in Geneva and she comes to visit us in LA as well. I love her dearly and despite the distance, we spend ample time together," she explained.
