Kyle and Jackie O banned 'arrogant' star from radio show for life: 'Worst interview'

Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson regularly welcome some of the biggest names in the entertainment business onto their radio show.

But now, the hosting duo of The Kyle and Jackie O Show have revealed the 'worst celebrity interview' they've ever done - with Kyle claiming they have banned the star from the show for life.

During Monday morning's radio show, Kyle Sandilands told listeners that an interview with Friends star Matt LeBlanc in 2016 - to promote his BBC series Top Gear - "didn't go well".

"Remember when we had Matt LeBlanc on? Oh, that didn't go well," Kyle said.

Jackie O called it a "terrible interview", adding LeBlanc is "notoriously bad in interviews".

"Who cares?" Kyle continued. "He was very arrogant and then he had to get hung up on and sworn at.

"And then banned from ever coming back again. Worst interview in the world!"

Clearly still holding a grudge, the shock jock, who is expecting his first child with fiancée Tegan Kynaston, then mocked LeBlanc's Friends character, Joey Tribbiani, and his famous line "How you doin'?".

"'How you doin'?' That gets old! You can't just walk around [saying], 'How you doin'?' It's bulls**t," he continued.

And Jackie seemed to agree, adding: "He should have dropped that line. It wasn't funny."

After the interview in question five years ago, Kyle called LeBlanc a "tosser" and an "a**ehole", adding he spoke "about 15 words".

They also agreed he showed a "total lack of giving a s**t" during the interview, with Jackie acknowledging he was "hard work" and had "never been into" doing media.

It comes after Kyle Sandilands sensationally stormed off the show earlier this month following an expletive-laden rant live on air.

Kyle hurled insults at his co-host Jackie O Henderson and newsreader Brooklyn Ross, who had been discussing former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian's leaked texts calling Prime Minister Scott Morrison a "complete psycho" and a "fraud".

"I’m going home, F**K you. Do the show by yourself, what a f**king show it’ll be,” he shouted.

The following day he did return, and apologised for the 'embarrassing' on-air meltdown, saying he was "Out of my mind".
