Kyle Sandilands announces his fiancée Tegan Kynaston is pregnant
Less than one month after announcing his engagement to Tegan Kynaston, Kyle Sandilands has revealed that the couple is expecting their first child together.
The shock jock, 50, broke the news live on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday, sharing that the baby is due in August.
“You’ve seen me through many career ups and downs, you’ve seen me nearly get fired, nearly get cancelled, multiple times,” he told his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
“Am I going to keep doing this job? Am I going to do something different in my life? What can I do at 50 years old that I’ve never done in my life before?”
Kyle then played an ‘audio clue’ of a baby’s heartbeat, asking Jackie what she thought it meant for the next stage of his life.

“We all know what that is,” she replied with excitement.
“I’m having a baby, baby!” he exclaimed, which was met with cheers and confetti as Tegan, 35, entered the studio.
“Congratulations! You know how excited I am for you guys?” Jackie continued. “I never thought I’d see the day that Kyle would become a dad and I’m so pleased for you both.”
Kyle went on to detail that Tegan is currently three months pregnant, and while they don’t know the baby’s sex yet they have already decided on names for both a boy and a girl.
The radio host has been very open on-air about his journey to fatherhood, telling listeners back in August that he and Tegan had started trying to conceive a child.
Kyle also underwent fertility testing and received the ‘all clear’ back in December, and spoke candidly with Sydney Confidential last month about why he now wants kids.
“When you think about it, because my mates have all got kids… young ones, and now I feel a bit left out,” he said.
“At first when they were showing me videos of this kid walking, I was like, ‘Who cares? Big deal’. But now I look forward to it when my godchild comes over.”
Kyle previously admitted that having children had never been on his list of priorities, and the desire only emerged recently due to the current state of the world.
“When the dust settles and you get a moment to pause like we all have during the pandemic, your priorities change,” he told Studio 10.
Kyle has been dating Tegan since late 2019 after spending eight years in a relationship with model Imogen Anthony, and was also previously married to singer Tamara Jaber from 2008 to 2010.
