Kodiak Has a New Protein-Packed Product That’s Only Available at Walmart
Making a filling breakfast just became easier.
Eating foods that are high in protein and keep you full longer will always be in style. Whether that’s adding a scoop of protein powder to your morning smoothie, loading up a dish with beans, or finding new ways to use cottage cheese, eating a protein-packed diet is easier than you might think.
And store-bought brands, like Premier Protein, Hershey’s One, and Kodiak, make it even easier.
Kodiak might be most well-known for its collection of Power Cake baking mixes that make high-protein pancakes and waffles, but the brand also has other mixes, oatmeals, and frozen foods that can make getting some extra protein, well, extra simple. Now, with the help of actor and Kodiak’s Chief Brand Officer Zac Efron, the brand is releasing a new mix that will have breakfast on the table in no time—and boasts a whopping 14 grams of protein.
This month, Kodiak is releasing a new Apple Brown Sugar Pecan Oatmeal for a limited time.
Kodiak's Releases Apple Brown Sugar Pecan Oatmeal Only at Walmart
Kodiak’s new oatmeal was created in partnership with Efron, combining two fan-favorite existing flavors with some of Efron’s favorite ingredients. The fruit-and-nut oatmeal features warm brown sugar flavors with apples, pecans, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, and cranberry seeds. It’s 100 percent whole grain and made with prebiotic fiber for a quick-and-easy breakfast that’s ready in minutes.
The Apple Brown Sugar Pecan Oatmeal is a Walmart exclusive that’s rolling out to stores nationwide now. The boxes feature six individual oatmeal packets that only require hot water to make. They’ll be available for $5.98 while supplies last.
Additionally, with each box of oatmeal sold, a portion of the funds supports Kodiak’s Keep It Wild initiatives. Kodiak partners with nonprofit organizations to conserve and protect wildlife, which Efron cites as one of the reasons he works with the brand.
“My goal was to create an oatmeal that’s really delicious, and really good for you—so with less sugar and more nutritious ingredients. I think we nailed it, and I’m really excited for people to try it," the “High School Musical” star said in a press release. "And I’m extremely grateful that Kodiak has decided to donate a portion of every sale towards a cause that’s important to me—wildlife preservation.”
Between the new filling oatmeal flavor and Kodiak’s efforts to help protect wildlife, we already have two great reasons to do our grocery shopping at Walmart this week.
