What We Know About Lady Gaga's Cryptic Instagram Posts and "Secret Project"
Over the weekend, everyone was minding their own business preparing for soup season when Lady Gaga hopped on Instagram and dropped these three posts with absolute zero context.
And this last post ^ which reads "No Duct Tape No Mission" also includes what appears to be a snippet from a new song.
So, what do we have here? Theories range from Lady Gaga teasing LG7, to the posts having something to do with the upcoming Joker sequel, to this being an entirely different "secret project."
There are also a huge number of speculative theories lurking around Twitter—from claims that the snippet is from a song called "Happy Mistake" to claims that the ~secret project~ called Harlequin will drop this week:

Meanwhile, Gaga has said literally nothing. Like, Entertainment Tonight sat down with her and brought up the cryptic Instagram posts (asking "is this promo for the film or your new single?") and she simply replied "it's a secret," before adding "that was a good question there, it stumped me."

Earlier this month, Gaga confirmed in a Vogue profile that she's spent much of 2024 recording both LG7 (which is out in February) as well as her "surprise project." While playing Vogue new music, she said "There’s a lot of pain associated with this adventure and when I start to explore that pain it can bring out another side to my artistry. When I’m here at this studio, I’m relaxed and I am able to face my demons and what’s remarkable is…that’s the music. I’m able to hear it back.”
