Kmart shoppers swear this $11 item is the best buy of 2024: '100% recommend'
'I saw this and I was like, if this works, it's going to be a game changer for me.'
A Kmart shopper has taken to TikTok to share an $11 find that he swears is a "game-changer." And, judging by the comments his post generated, he's not alone in his thinking.
Content creator Mike Provis shared the video with his 300,000+ followers, taking them on a journey through his local store in Kotara to reveal the gadget he is hailing as "the best Kmart buy of 2024." The item in question? An Anko electronic face mister which he snagged for little more than a tenner.
'A game changer'
"I reckon I've just found the best Kmart buy of 2024," he says. "You might not agree with this, but someone who gets hot in summer, being English, living in Australia, or if you get hot in general, you're probably going to like this product."
He continues, "Look at this electronic face mist for $11. I'll show you why this is important when I get in the car. All right, I've just gone and put some water on it, so let's go and test it."

Once in his car, he explains that he was just at the driving range and even though he acknowledges it's not currently hot in Australia, he's feeling the heat after his round.
"I saw this and I was like, if this works, it's going to be a game changer for me. I get so hot and sweaty in summer. It's unbelievable," he reveals.
"Let's give this a red hot crack. Come on. Oh, it's not that powerful, but let me tell you. Oh my gosh, that's so refreshing."
Kmart shoppers rave about electronic mister
His followers were quick to share his enthusiasm for the face mister with someone writing, "Omg those are the best 100% recommend."
"Amazing! Imagine if you put it in the fridge!!," another suggested.
"Add to cart! I might add lavender oil to it!" someone else said.
"I got this...worth it best buy," one shopper confirmed while another said, "I got one it's very good."
"They're really good to use on flights as well it keeps you refreshed," offered another person.
There were also a couple of girlies who reasoned that the spray bottle would be perfect for anyone going through perimenopause or menopause because "the hot flushes are no joke."
A couple of lucky people also shared that they were soon heading to Bali and they figured the spray would be the perfect travel companion.
Electronic mister earns a 4.2 rating
The mister has a rating of 4.2 on the Kmart website and has generated mostly positive reviews.
"I saw this on TikTok and never realised I needed it until I saw it!" one shopper wrote. "The mist is so fine and refreshing- my daughter stole it to keep cool in summer so I’m glad I bought two. I need to try it for its proper purpose and add to my skincare routine which I’ll do soon. Being Rechargeable is also very handy."
"I love this it’s amazing quality for the price, I would definitely recommend getting this if you are thinking about it," another said.
Shoppers point out flaws in item
Amongst all of the comments from people who had either already bought one or intended to buy one on Michael's TikTok, there were, of course, a few people who doubted the usefulness of the product - such as this one person who said, "Don’t think u realise the water will be 40° in minutes in summer."
Or this customer who wrote, "I had one, lasted 5 minutes and broke!!"

This was echoed on the Kmart website with someone writing, "Broke after the 2nd time I used it."
However, the best comments on TikTok were the ones from the people who questioned how this mere mortal of a man had managed to walk in and out of Kmart with just one purchase to show for it.
"How did you go to Kmart and only buy one thing," questioned one follower.
"Walking out of Kmart with 1 item is a talent," another said.
