Kmart shoppers go wild for the ultimate affordable Lego dupes: 'They look almost identical'
Budget-conscious shoppers are celebrating the cost-effective Lego alternatives.
Kmart is already a big player in the fashion and cosmetics dupe game, but now they've extended their magic touch to toys, specifically Lego-like sets. It hasn't taken long for social media to start buzzing with excitement over the affordable options as they share their finds online.
One enthusiastic TikToker posted footage from her local Kmart, exclaiming, "Attention! Kmart has new Lego flowers and they're gorg! I am so excited to build these!" It seems she's not alone, as the comments section quickly filled with eager responses.

"Imma need all of them," one person wrote, with another adding, "I better go to Kmart right now." A third commented, "I'm addicted! Have already searched three Kmarts, but they aren't where I am right now yet."
And another fan exclaimed, "I'm screaming!"
Building a buzz
With official Lego flower sets priced upwards of $70, Kmart's budget-friendly versions are a hit, but not for the hip pocket.
With the cherry blossom and orchids priced at just $29, and other flower sets priced between $8 and $15, these Lego dupes are looking pretty good for anyone watching their wallets (aka all of us!).
"When the budget Lego sets hit good cause we're all poor rn," one person quipped.
Another chimed in, "This is the only version of Lego I can afford."
Close to the real thing
Indeed, many fans can't believe how close Kmart's dupes are to the real thing.
"Oh surely the orchid one is pushing the copyright limits a bit," someone noted.
"Like the colour scheme and everything!" Another agreed, "They almost look identical."
One eager shopper confessed, "The way I ran to the website to see if they were available in my area!" Another proudly shared, "I only saw the cherry blossom at my Kmart, but I snatched it up!"
Of course, not everyone is sold on the idea. Some Lego purists are sticking with the originals.
"These are nice but they ain't real Lego. You pay for what you get. Lego lasts much longer and the colour is so much more solid, so are the bricks themselves," one person critiqued.
Others noted the size difference: "I got one of the flower ones and be prepared, the blocks are miniature!"
In addition to the flower sets, Kmart has unveiled a massive collection of nano block sets that are winning over social media users.
The lineup features mini appliances like toasters and coffee machines, as well as adorable animal figures and even buildable sneakers, all crafted from mini blocks.
