"I’ve heard they are flying out, such a great price," one Kmart fan said.
Kmart shoppers have been sharing their love for a brand new $29 item, with one user saying "they are flying out" the door. The Jewellery Ultrasonic Cleaner has just landed at Kmart and at $29, shoppers are saying it's great value for money.
One user shared her recent purchase and a review on Facebook, writing, "I was really impressed with it. Popped it with dishwashing liquid and warm water."

"[Definitely] on my list to get, thank you," one user responded, with the original poster replying, "I’ve heard they are flying out, such a great price. Good luck 🥰."
"Works great for cleaning Invisalign aligners too 😂," another replied.
"Don't put jewellery with stones in it," a third warned.
"I put my rings in one of these all the time with no problems," someone else added. "If the small amount of vibration from these loosens your stones then they are loose already and likely to fall out when worn. You should have your jewellery checked by a jeweller occasionally to make sure."
"Thinking of getting one, but what's the liquid you put in?" one shopper asked, with another user replying, "Water and a tiny bit of dishwashing liquid only."
Others shared some alternative methods, with one user writing, "All you need is a dish with a crumpled up piece of foil, a dessert spoon of baking soda. Place in a dish add boiling water and drop your gold or silver jewellery in. It will clean in seconds. Just rinse and dry. It cleans amazingly."
However, someone else wrote, "I have a degree in chemistry and wanted to point out that while this is a common and effective method, it can remove a thin layer of silver from your jewellery over time. The chemical reaction isn't always as selective as you'd hope! I would caution against using this method on silver plated, intricately carved or thin pieces."
"NOT GOLD!! Bad advice – only works best on silver to remove tarnish," another said.

Another effective and gentle way to clean jewellery is to place it in a heat-safe bowl, add boiling water and dishwashing liquid, and allow the pieces to sit for a little while. Then, use a baby toothbrush or an extra-soft toothbrush to lightly scrub the jewellery.
It's always best to visit your jeweller to have your jewellery cleaned, as they can also check for any issues or loose stones.
