This Sex Secret About Michael Jackson Is Revealed In Lisa Marie Presley's Posthumous Memoir
Lisa Marie Presley long admitted her marriage to Michael Jackson was “unusual,” but her posthumous memoir reveals a sex secret about the King of Pop.
In her newly published posthumous book, From Here To The Great Unknown: A Memoir, Presley said that when she first became romantically involved with the then-35-year-old singer in 1994, he told her he was still a virgin, People reports.
“I think he had kissed Tatum O’Neal, and he’d had a thing with Brooke Shields, which hadn’t been physical apart from a kiss,” the daughter of Elvis Presley said in the book.
Jackson also told her that Madonna ”had tried to hook up with him once, too, but nothing happened.”
The news was a bit of a shock for Presley, who was in the process of getting divorced from then-husband Danny Keough, the father of her daughter, actor Riley Keough, who co-wrote the memoir.
Jackson ― who was 10 years older than Presley ― first met her when they were much younger, before reconnecting in the early 1990s.
Although she was still married to Keough, the couple split amicably after Jackson confessed his love during a trip to Las Vegas.
“Michael said, ‘I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m completely in love with you. I want us to get married and for you to have my children,’” Presley said. “I didn’t say anything immediately, but then I said, ‘I’m really flattered, I can’t even talk.’ By then, I felt I was in love with him too.”
Presley then split with Keough, and she married Jackson.
The couple was married for two years before divorcing in August 1996 on grounds of “irreconcilable differences.”
In 2010, she admitted she didn’t understand her relationship with him and realized why some people thought the marriage was a sham.
“To some degree, he was a master at manipulating a little bit with the media. I understand that nobody really knew who I was. They just assumed I was going along with something he would be doing.”
