Kmart shopper stuns with 'amazing' bathroom glow-up: 'Looks amazing'

The only thing better that these jaw-dropping renovation results is the budget price.

Don't think you can transform your bathroom for as little as $100? Well, one savvy Kmart fan is proving it can be done. Shoppers have been raving about the store's DIY range, which has everything from budget cupboard handles and bathroom hardware, to paint and adhesive tiles.

Sharing the before and after pictures of her mini makeover on Facebook, the woman showed off the incredible results that left her bathroom looking fresh and new. "A temporary makeover for our bathroom - all Kmart for $100!" she shared.

"This bathroom is our main bathroom and while we save for the big reno, these Kmart products have come to the rescue."

She revealed how she used two rolls of peel-and-stick wallpaper in cockatoo pattern to cover the walls, costing just $15 per roll. She then used four packs of gold and rattan handles for $8 each, one roll of adhesive vinyl in Oak Woodgrain for $3, and a set of gold embossed bathroom hardware for $20.

She gave it a final touch-up by cleaning her mirror frame using the cult cleaning product Rub N Buff to complete the transformation.

Fellow DIY fans loved the results. "Very impressive! Beautiful makeover," one person commented. "You have to be proud of yourself, it looks amazing," added another.

Some questioned whether the wallpaper would go the distance, but the Kmart customer said there's been no sign of it peeling off yet.

"I've had the one in the toilet up for a week and so far so good. I did sand beforehand but I have read a few reviews to say it doesn't work for some people," she responded.
