Kmart fan spots husband's 'hilarious' koala poster prank
A Kmart fan has sent the internet into fits of laughter after sharing the hilarious result of her husband’s attempt at hanging the store’s $19 koala framed poster on their living room wall.
Instead of putting the artwork the right way up with the Aussie critter at the bottom of the canvas as intended, cheeky chap Shaun decided to have a bit of fun and flipped the whole thing upside down.
Fiona, his wife, shared a snap of his handiwork on Facebook, joking that “even the kookaburra [in the adjacent frame] is thinking wtf”.
She explained that the topsy-turvey marsupial is a nod to the infamous ‘drop bears’ Shaun used to warn British-born Fiona about.
Almost 900 of Fiona’s fellow Facebook users also thought Shaun’s poster prank was very funny, taking to the comments section to share the love.
“That’s hilarious, but I would totally leave it like that,” wrote one.
“Where did you get your hubby from? I want one with a great sense of humour like his,” added another.
“Don’t change it, its happiness, fun and love,” another said.

Fiona tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the koala is going to stay where it is for a very sweet reason.
“We are going to leave the pic as it is after getting such a lovely response to it.
“He always teased me about there being ‘drop bears’ in Australia when we first met 11 years ago so it makes the $19 pic special to us”.
Fiona adds that while Shaun is an ‘amazing bloke’ his skills around the house aren’t quite up to scratch.
“DIY ain’t his thing, he isn’t giving up his day job of being a disability support worker anytime soon to take up interior design,” she laughed.
It’s not the first time a hubby has caused chaos when it comes to Kmart, with one gentleman’s mischievous in-store antics landing both he and his wife on a banned list.
And a shopper’s shirtless partner added a racy element to her snaps of her new Kmart cabinet — which she unwittingly shared on social media!
