Kmart fans spot shirtless man in mum's photo: 'Hot husband'
A woman has left her fellow Kmart fans all aflutter after sharing a pair of seemingly innocent photos of her new rattan cabinet on Facebook. In this case, the commotion wasn’t over what was in the snaps — such as an ingenious hack or a must-have new product — but rather who was in them.
In one of the pics, Aimee, from Perth, had captured the reflection of a shirtless man in the mirror along with her own and, while she attempted to hide their identity by covering their faces with red dots, the mystery man’s bare chest and tribal tattoos were on full display.
Aimee tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the gent is her fiancé, Josh, who is ‘pretty embarrassed but has a good sense of humour’ about all the attention he’s received.
“We didn’t even realise we were in the mirror, we were just looking at the cabinet and trying to decide what to do with the legs so I called him over,” Aimee says.
But when she threw the question out on Facebook — “Do we like legs or no legs? Or should I get the legs shortened?!” she asked in her post — Aimee was instead inundated with saucy comments about her semi-nude fiancé.
“More substantial legs on the cupboards but keep the hubby as is,” wrote one Facebook user.
“I can’t see the legs in this photo.... ask him to walk further backwards,” joked another.

One commenter branded Josh a ‘#hothusband’.
One wanted to know where they could purchase their own well-built bloke.
“What section in Kmart do I find the shirtless man?”
Others couldn’t even focus on the task at hand:
“Sorry! What was the question again. I keep going back to the pics to try and remember what I am supposed to be looking at. Second mirror looks the best.”
Aimee addressed the attention by adding an update to her original post that explained a little more about the man’s character.
“Edit.. wooow guys I will not be showing him any of these comments and making his head any bigger than it already is,” she wrote.
“And look... he still throws his washing next to the washing basket and leaves the toilet seat up sooooo he’s no angel.”
In case you’re wondering, Aimee tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the pair decided to ‘keep the legs but to shorten them’.
Not everyone was happy with the direction the conversation had taken, with one user pointing out the hypocrisy of some of the comments.
“Ok but if it was a bunch of guys commenting about her he'd be ‘disgusting’,” they wrote.
“This! Could you imagine a forum where they discussed a woman like this?! Such a double standard,” agreed another.
For those interested, the rattan cabinets appear to be from Kmart’s upcoming homewares range which drops in August and will be featured in the retailer’s online Masterclasses.
