Kmart fans are obsessed with this $15 cardigan: 'This is the cutest'

Autumn is well and truly here, so it’s the perfect time to refresh your wardrobe with some comfy clothing. If you’re feeling the pinch due to the cost-of-living crisis, budget retailer Kmart is here to help.

Aussie TikToker Amanda Aioannou loves to share her Kmart finds with fellow shoppers, and there’s a $15 item set to fly off the shelf. Putting on a soft, cosy-looking green cardigan, she said she was surprised when she came across it during a shopping trip.

“I’m just about to leave the house, but I couldn’t leave without showing you guys what I bought today,” she said. “I was in utter shock and you will be too when you find out where it’s from and how much it cost.”

“Is this not one of the cutest things that you’ve ever seen?” she asked while modelling the cardigan. “This is from Kmart and it’s $15. Thank me later.”

In the caption, she wrote: “Run don’t walk”, before telling her followers she purchased the cardi in green and black.

“I got the 10-12 [in green] as there wasn’t any smaller [sizes] left, but I got it in black also in a 6-8 and both fit really well. This one is just a little bit more oversized which I like,” she said.

The Button Through Cardigan comes in six different colours: green, grey, black, oat beige, pastel lavender, and sandy brown. It boasts a V-neck, a ribbed hem and buttons down the front, and it’s meant to be slightly baggy and oversized.

The versatile clothing piece has an almost perfect 4.9 rating on Kmart’s website, with many shoppers saying the material is “super soft”. The cardi runs large, so some Kmart fans recommend sizing down if you want a snug fit.

“Love the design of this cardi with the tortoise look buttons and it’s the perfect length with a slightly relaxed fit. Will be a great cardi to wear over any outfit in winter!” one person wrote.

“This is the cutest cardigan for autumn. So comfortable!” another agreed.

“Very happy with my purchase. The cardi is soft and lovely to wear. After seeing another review I purchased a size 16-18 even though I’d normally be an 8-10 as I wanted a loose look and feel,” a third said.

“Great quality, on-trend fashion item. Runs quite large so I sized down in it,” a shopper added.
